SEE HOW FAST IT WORKS
No searching for shackles. No digging out a tree saver.
Pull the line out and make the connection.
ONE WINCH LINE. MULTIPLE WAYS TO CONNECT.
The Bleepin Winch Line is a patented HMPE synthetic winch rope with
three attachment openings built directly into the line,
plus the Bleepin Knot and replaceable Bleepin Loop at the end for smaller
attachment points.
Need to winch from a tree? Pull out the rope, wrap it around the tree,
pass the end through the appropriate opening, and you’re ready.
Need to recover another Jeep or truck? Pass the Bleepin Loop through a
suitable recovery point and reconnect the line back to itself.
When the recovery is finished, give the line some slack, disconnect it,
and spool it back into the winch.
Everything stays with the winch, ready to go when you need it.
WHAT’S NEW WITH BLEEPIN WINCH LINE 4.0?
You asked for a way to replace the soft-shackle-style end if it ever became
worn or damaged, so Version 4.0 now uses a
removable and replaceable Bleepin Loop.
Version 4.0 also adds additional visual and safety features designed to
make the winch line more intuitive to use.
Each full-length Bleepin Winch Line includes:
- Replaceable Bleepin Loop
- Chafe guard sleeve on the Bleepin Loop
- Chafe protection on the winch line
- Red warning marker to indicate when you’re getting close to the drum
- Multiple built-in attachment openings
The line can be configured to sit flush in the fairlead or with a
ready-to-grab handle for faster access.

Watch Matt explain the Bleepin Winch Line, how it works,
and why he designed it:
WHAT DOES MTS MEAN?
MTS = Minimum Tensile Strength.
After breaking multiple rope samples, test results can be used to determine
both Average Tensile Strength and Minimum Tensile Strength.
We use Minimum Tensile Strength because it represents the
strength at which the weakest tested samples broke.
Some manufacturers advertise Average Tensile Strength because the number is
higher. Others use a more generic “Breaking Strength” rating. We prefer MTS
because it gives you a more conservative number when comparing rope strength.

🧭 Bleepin Winch Line FAQ
❓ Which size Bleepin Winch Line should I buy?
For winches up to 5,000 lb, choose 1/4″ × 50 ft.
For winches up to 10,000 lb, choose 3/8″ × 90 ft.
For winches up to 12,000 lb, choose 7/16″ × 90 ft.
The 7/16″ × 120 ft version is intended for the Warn 8274
or other large-drum winches.
❓ Can I use the Bleepin Winch Line with a snatch block or snatch ring?
Yes. Like other synthetic winch lines, the Bleepin Winch Line can be
used with snatch blocks designed for synthetic rope.
Do not use a snatch block with burrs or large gaps that could catch the rope.
A snatch ring is another option and has no moving parts.
❓ How does the Bleepin Winch Line connect to the winch?
It connects the same basic way as the winch line you’re replacing.
Follow the attachment method specified for your winch.

❓ What if my winch normally uses 60 ft and the Bleepin Winch Line is 90 ft?
Winch drums vary. Determine how much line your specific drum can safely hold.
If necessary, the Bleepin Winch Line can be shortened.

❓ Can the Bleepin Winch Line be used as a winch-line extension?
Yes. The drum-end loop can be reconfigured to create a larger attachment loop.
Instructions:

❓ Is this the same winch line Matt’s Off Road Recovery uses?
Yes. Matt’s Off Road Recovery uses the Bleepin Winch Line
on the main winch of its rigs.
❓ What is the 1.5X safety factor?
A common guideline is to select a winch with a capacity approximately
1.5 times the loaded weight of the vehicle.
Separately, the synthetic rope should have a Minimum Tensile Strength
appropriate for the winch’s rated capacity.
❓ How much 7/16″ line will a 12,000 lb Badlands winch hold?
90 ft of our Bleepin Winch Line when properly spooled.
❓ Will a 12,000 lb Badlands winch hold the 120 ft Bleepin Winch Line?
No. We recommend the 90 ft version.
The final portion of the Bleepin Winch Line contains additional doubled rope,
so it occupies more drum space than a conventional 90 ft line.
❓ Can I use the 7/16″ × 120 ft version on a Warn 16.5ti?
Our current largest Bleepin Winch Line is 7/16″ with an 18,000 lb MTS,
which does not meet our 1.5X safety-factor recommendation for a 16,000 lb winch.
❓ Can I convert a steel-cable winch to the Bleepin Winch Line?
In many cases, yes, but verify that the winch manufacturer approves
synthetic rope for your particular winch.
Synthetic winch rope should be used with an appropriate hawse fairlead.
❓ Can I attach a 12 ft Bleepin Winch Line to a different-size synthetic rope?
Technically yes, but the completed assembly is only as strong as its weakest
component. For example, connecting a 15,000 lb MTS line to an 18,000 lb MTS
line does not make the entire assembly rated to 18,000 lb.
❓ Is the 1/4″ Bleepin Winch Line suitable for an ATV or SXS?
Yes. The 1/4″ Bleepin Winch Line has an 8,000 lb MTS and is intended
for ATV and SXS winches up to 5,000 lb.
❓ What is the warranty?
Bleepin Winch Line is backed by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
If it fails because of how it was manufactured, we’ll repair, replace, or refund it.
Damage caused by misuse, abrasion, overloading, or improper use is not covered.
❓ Can I use a roller fairlead?
We recommend a hawse fairlead for synthetic winch rope.
Roller fairleads can create pinch points or damaged surfaces that may catch
or damage synthetic fibers.
❓ Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Shipping costs will populate after you enter your shipping address
during checkout.
❓ Is Bleepin Winch Line made by or associated with Yankum Ropes?
No. Bleepin Winch Line has never been associated with Yankum Ropes.
❓ Can synthetic rope be used on a winch originally equipped with steel cable?
Sometimes. Verify that the winch manufacturer approves synthetic rope
for your specific winch.
Internal drum brakes can generate significant heat during extended
powered-out operation under load. Follow the winch manufacturer’s instructions,
avoid extended powered-out operation under load, and use any required
heat-resistant drum sleeve or other heat protection.
