Bleepin Winch Line Directions:

🧭 Bleepin Winch Line – FAQ

❓ Can I use the Bleepin Winch Line with a snatch block or snatch ring (aka donut)?

Yes. The Bleepin Winch Line, like any synthetic line, can be used with snatch blocks designed for synthetic rope. Do not use a snatch block that has burrs in the wheel or large gaps where the rope can get caught. For synthetics, I prefer a snatch ring because it has no moving parts and is lighter to carry than a snatch block.

❓ How does the Bleepin Winch Line connect to the winch itself?

Just like the factory winch line that you are taking off. If you have a Zeon winch with a key, install it the same way. If you have a Badlands winch with a screw, install it the same way. I also have an installation video you can watch here: Watch the installation video.

❓ What if my winch has 60 ft of winch line and you only sell 90 ft?

Since every winch is different, you may need to figure out how much winch line will fit into your specific winch drum. There are many variables, but once you figure out the correct length, just cut your Bleepin Winch Line to size. If you still need a loop at the end, it’s easy to remake the loop using this video: Loop remake video.

❓ Can the Bleepin Winch Line be used as a winch line extension?

Yes. To do this, take the end that goes on the drum and pull the loop out, then rethread the loop bigger as seen in this video: Extension setup video. Then it will be a perfect extension. You could also theoretically buy two Bleepin Winch Lines and splice them together if you want full functionality on both ends. To splice two lines together, use this video: Splice video.

❓ Is this the same winch line that MORR Matt uses?

Yes. Matt’s Off Road Recovery uses the Bleepin Winch Line on the main winch of all his rigs.

❓ Can you explain the 1.5X safety factor?

Sure. The 1.5x safety factor is applied once to select a winch with a capacity of 1.5 times your vehicle’s loaded weight. Separately, the synthetic rope must have a Minimum Tensile Strength (MTS) that is 1.5 times the winch’s rated capacity, ensuring the rope is the strongest component in the recovery system.

❓ How much 7/16 will a 12,000 lb Badlands winch hold?

90 feet of our Bleepin Winch Line when spooled properly.

❓ Will my 12,000 lb Badlands winch hold 120 ft of Bleepin Winch Line?

No. The drum on any winch can only hold so much line before it is full. We recommend 10 feet less than what your winch comes with from the factory. The reason for 10 feet less is that the Bleepin Winch Line is doubled up for the last 12 feet. Therefore, a 90 ft Bleepin Winch Line actually has 104 feet of rope that still needs to spool into the winch.

❓ For a Warn 16.5ti, would I order the 7/16 120-foot version?

Our current largest Bleepin Winch Line is 7/16 inch with an 18,000 lb MTS, which does not meet the 1.5X safety factor for a 16,000 lb winch.

❓ Can I convert my steel-cabled winch to the Bleepin Winch Line?

Yes, of course. Remove your steel cable and attach the synthetic line the same way the steel line was attached. Keep in mind, you will need a Hawse-style fairlead with any synthetic line. You can find these on Amazon, Harbor Freight, or elsewhere.

❓ Can you post the link to the directions?

❓ Can you connect the 3/8 inch 12-foot extension to a 3/16 inch line?

Technically yes, you can attach our 12-foot Bleepin Winch Line to the same size or a different size regular synthetic winch line. But the rating will now be the weaker rating of the two lines. For example, if you attach a 3/8 inch Bleepin Winch Line (15,000 lb MTS) to a 7/16 inch regular synthetic line with an 18,000 lb MTS, the new MTS will still be the weaker of the two: 15,000 lbs.

❓ Where’s the video on your website on how to splice winch line?

In the description of the rope: Splice video.

❓ How about a 3/16 inch line for my 3,500 lb side-by-side winch?

We offer the perfect solution for an SXS or ATV in the 1/4 inch Bleepin Winch Line. The MTS is 8,000 lbs, which is plenty for almost any SXS or ATV.

❓ What’s the warranty on the Bleepin Winch Line?

Bleepin Winch Line is backed by a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects, not misuse. If it fails because of how it was made, we’ll repair, replace, or refund it. If it fails because you dragged it over rocks, overloaded it, or used it wrong, that’s on you.

❓ Can you use the Bleepin Winch Line with a roller fairlead or do you have to have a Hawse fairlead?

Do not use synthetic winch line with a roller fairlead. The fibers can get caught in the rollers. Always use a Hawse fairlead with a synthetic winch line.

❓ Do you ship to Australia, Canada, Norway, the UK, etc.?

Yes. Shipping costs will populate when you enter your address at checkout.

❓ I thought you sold these at Yankum Ropes. Did you use to sell them there, or maybe Yankum supplies the ropes?

We have never been associated with Yankum Ropes. Although I’m sure they have good products, they do not sell or make anything similar to the Bleepin Winch Line.
