Sotally Tober on the Rubicon Trail

Come and join us on our Epic Journey, as 4 determined Jeepers from the east join the fun out on the Rubicon Trail for the 67th Annual Jeeper’s Jamboree! I had the easiest journey of any of us, flying out to Reno to meet up with Jay, Alyssa, and Stephanie. Stephanie Harper (Peitz Performance) flew from Houston to Atlanta to meet up with Jay and Alyssa as they trailered their two Jeeps across country from Georgia to Reno. In Reno they unloaded the Jeeps just hours before picking me up at the airport. Thank you to Summit for allowing us to park the truck and trailer on the lot of their Reno location! From there we drove the Jeeps to Truckee, California where we spent the night. Headed out the next morning to registration in Georgetown, CA, we started to smell some gasoline fumes. Long story short, sadly only one of the Jeeps we brought from Georgia was able to make the trip on the Rubicon. We still had an amazing time, and Stephanie and I got to ride along in some really incredible Jeeps owned by some of Genright’s amazing customers. So what is Jeeper’s Jamboree like? It’s a pretty exclusive event held on the holy grail of Jeep trails. You’ll get a taste of what the trail is like as well as the events at Rubicon Springs, but you’ll have to wait for part 2 to fully dive in to the fun that is Jeeper’s Jamboree!
