Most people misunderstand what actually holds a synthetic winch line to the drum—and getting it wrong can create a serious problem when you need your winch most.
In this video, I’ll show you how to install a synthetic winch line on several common winch attachment styles, including an older Harbor Freight winch, a Smittybilt-style side screw setup, and a WARN Zeon drum-key system.
