    Hey, great videos, I was wonder if you could answer a question. I have a 99 jeep grand Cherokee limited with a 4.0 and the transfer case is going bad. I saw some used ones for sale but they are out of a 4.7, I read somewhere the imput shaft might be different, do you know if that is correct? And how hard is it to change the imput shaft if it is different? Thanks

    I just bought a 1998 cherokee 4.0lt. there is a kind of clunk when i
    change from dr to reverse or vs versa. it also happens when i take my foot off the pedal
    at higher speed 40 -50 . any thoughts. the clunk comes from the tranny area between the front seats or a bit behind.

    Any tips on removing the transfer case to do the advanced adapters sye kit? Looks like some vacuum hoses and electrical connections then just unbolting from the transmission. Plus suspending the transmission and removing the crossmember and the mount. Is there anything else I should plan ahead for? Also, when I’m in there (99 xj 231, 200000 +) is there anything else I should replace while I have it apart? Thanks

    I have a 2003 Grand Cherokee AWD. When I shift into reverse I have problems. It will engage and disengage rapidly. When it first engages, it will disengage as soon as throttle is depressed even in the slightest. Was told the transfer case is bad and needs to be changed. What are your thoughts?

    I have a 2014 jku, original gearing was 3.21, added 3.5″ lift and went to 4.11 gears with 35’s. did i install the right gear ratio?

    I have a 1990 jeep wrangler that leaks around the rear drive shaft slip yoke. I have replaced the rear seal twice and the the tail shaft rear bushing and seal again. Seemed to do the trick for about 3 months. Now it’s leaking like a sieve. Any suggestions ???

      i’ve seen this before but don’t know the cause, if you figure it out let me know. my guess is you are ripping the seal upon reinstall or maybe the shaft is bent causing it to tear prematurely?
