If you spend a lot of time on the trail or long drives in your XJ, you’ve probably thought about swapping out the seats. Many people change out to Grand Cherokee seats, but most of those are leather, or a cloth that doesn’t match the rest of the interior. Using the WJ (1999-2004) Grand Cherokee seat backs, you can add lumbar support to your late model XJ seats with adjustable headrests (found in Classic and Limited models). This is pretty simple to do, requires no welding and minimal tools! You may even want to add some aftermarket seat heaters while you’re at it!
