In this video lets go over 2 easy methods on how to grease wheel bearings. First we will grease or pack by hand… next we will use a tool called the Handy Packer. If you have a sealed unit bearing, you wont need to pack or grease them. Many cars, trucks, and trailers use inner and outer bearings that ride on a spindle, these bearings must be greased before installation and then maintained on a regular basis. The most common applications when you will need to grease or pack bearings is on all trailers, truck or suv rear axles, front axles of older vehicles, and front axles of vehicles with locking hubs and or larger trucks. Ohh and one more thing I forgot to mention in the video… I was trying to keep the handy packer in the camera shot but you can always use a hammer or your foot to give a little more uuumphhh!
